Simbiotiks transforms complex biological concepts into stunning, medically accurate visuals created through AI and 3D design—bridging science, art, and education.
Simbiotiks is an educational technology initiative by Beavernets Technologies Inc. exploring how artificial intelligence and 3D visualization can make science education more accessible.
Through collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University's Pathways to Equity Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) program, we aim to empower students to combine biology, art, and AI to create new ways of learning and communicating science.
The project investigates how AI tools (like DALL·E, diffusion models, and Blender automation) can be used to produce medically accurate illustrations and animations for university-level biology courses.
These AI-generated assets are then tested for scientific accuracy and clarity through student-led research and faculty collaboration. We invite collaborations with educators, research programs, and creative technologists.
Students in Biology or Biomedical Sciences with interests in digital art, science visualization, or communication are invited to participate.
Identify key biological topics (cells, tissues, organ systems) and gather reference data for accuracy.
Generate AI-based visualizations using guided prompts, diffusion models, and 3D tools.
Assess generated visuals for medical accuracy and clarity against standard reference materials.
Create short educational clips and visual explanations to demonstrate the concepts.
Our goal is to create a library of assets that can be used in real-world educational settings.
We welcome collaborations with educators, research programs, and creative technologists. Let's explore how AI and design can work together.
